Starts on Saturday!!! Whoooo hoooo!!! I’m particularly excited about it because I put it together. Our ride contest this year is a Scavenger Hunt that covers the state of Colorado. There are some well-known (and not so well-known) landmarks and just some downright crazy stuff that our members have to get a shot of their bikes with the item in question. Now, how do I mount my tripod on my Fatboy to carry it?? Hmmmmm.....
The list has some 350+ items on it! There are challenges for different skill levels so it’ll be fun to see what everyone comes up with. I wish I had an edge to finding all the items on the list—I don’t. I put it together in a couple of days and didn’t really have time to do a lot of research so I’m pretty much in the dark as well as everyone else!!
I’ll post some of the images here to share the adventure of finding some of this stuff. The whole list is 10 or 12 pages long (I can’t remember) and will be a heck of a wild time!! The timeframe runs from April 1 to October 31, so there will be plenty of time for everyone to participate.
I know that Karla will be a tough competitor to beat as well as some of the other hard-core riders! Sandy, Julie, and a couple other riders have new bikes to break in—and my V-Star is still new since it only has some 2,200 miles on it!
Plus Wendy will be getting her new trike so I imagine she’ll be burning up the roads as well. How could she not? That is one screaming red trike she has!!! And a helmet to match!!
Did I mention that I’ll be pulling out for a ride at 7:30 am on Saturday morning??? Hmmm…does it have anything to do with the ride contest?? LOL…you’ll have to just wait and see(!!!
